I’m trying to become a software developer by teaching myself. I’m a shameless Hololive simp that enjoys casual gaming on the PC/PS5/Switch as well as watching anime. I collect anime merch like figures (mostly Pop-Up Parade and nendoroids), acrylic stands, keychains, and so on. I’ve enjoyed reading in the past, especially fantasy and sci-fi, but haven’t read much for several years. I dabble in things like music and 3D animation.
Yes, oshis. Plural. Originally I listed them all here, but I rambled on about it so much it deserved its own blog post.
But if I had to pick one from each branch (JP, EN, and ID):
I’ve got Idol Showdown, Kill la Kill, and Moonstone Island queued up. Stardew Valley is also getting a 1.6 update that I have a hunch will be extensive enough to warrant a reply after a few years away from the game.
My favorite genre is definitely slice of life. I think the lower stakes is better for my heart.
I’ve only used Python and C# for scripting, data analysis, and control of software that provided an API. But recently I realized I wanted to make a career out of it, so I’ve been studying up on more intermediate and advanced programming topics as well as trying to teach myself bits of computer science. I’ve mostly been following The Odin Project, but using whatever resources I can find in general to learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, C, and more advanced Python.
